Pin Quality

Grade A (Standard Quality) - Near Perfect
These pins are near perfect. In some cases, because they are made by human hands, they still may have tiny flaws upon close inspection like light scratches or micro imperfections. These flaws are only noticeable upon close inspection or when the light hits the pin at a certain angle, and do not detract from the overall appearance of the pin.

Grade B - Good Quality "Seconds"
These are very good quality pins with only 1 or 2 minor imperfections. These imperfections are not generally noticeable by most and do not detract from the overall appearance of the pin. Due to flaws, B grade pins are offered at a slight discount.

Grade C - Imperfect "Seconds"
These pins have more issues than B grade pins (3 or more) and imperfections are much more noticeable. They are a fantastic deal at 50% off, and are perfect for those that want to wear the pin and not worry about damage or loss.

Grade F
- Majorly Flawed "Seconds"
These are pins so flawed that I would not feel comfortable selling them as they are not indicative of the quality we provide. These pins have very major flaws that greatly detract from the overall appearance such as defective plating or enamel, major areas missing enamel, or major areas with the incorrect enamel color.

If you'd like one of these pins included in your order, please leave a note in the 'note to seller' section of the cart and include the hashtag #freestuffrox. If I have any Grade F pins in stock, I'll happily send it free of charge! (Please note that including this note is not a guarantee and I will not be able to fulfill requests for Grade F freebies if I don't have any in stock.)

Imperfections can include:

- Scratches on the surface of the pin.
- Dings/gouges in the enamel.
- Areas slightly under-filled with enamel.
- Small areas filled with the wrong enamel color.
- Small areas not filled with enamel.
- Discoloration of the metal plating.
- Patchy, inconsistent plating.
- Enamel staining on metal (over-filled).
- Dull or unpolished enamel or metal.
- Lint or dust embedded in the enamel.
- Missing metal lines/ inaccurate artwork.
- One post on the back of pins that normally have two posts.
